Natasha Manji

M.CI.Sc., Reg. CASLPO

Natasha finds the substantial impact audiologists can have on someone else’s life extremely rewarding, and is excited to provide the residents of Durham with the highest quality of hearing healthcare when they visit The Hearing Room.

Natasha grew up in Markham, Ontario. She attended Western University, where she completed an honours undergraduate degree in Health Sciences with Biology, and minored in French. She pursued a Bachelor of Education from Western University, with the intention to teach high school students French and Biology. While completing her undergraduate and education degree, Natasha was introduced to the field of audiology. She worked as a part-time receptionist at a hearing clinic in London and also tutored an elementary school student with a severe hearing loss. Natasha realized that switching to the field of audiology would afford her the ability to improve the lives of others by providing treatment and emotional support to individuals as they cope with the difficult changes that accompany hearing loss. She applied to the Masters of Clinical Science program in Audiology at Western University and was accepted in the fall of 2011. She spent the first four years of her profession working as a clinical audiologist at a private chain. Over the past 4 years, she has seen infants hear their first sounds, seniors reconnect with their friends and family, and adults struggling to obtain employment due to their hearing loss join the job market, all because of the significant advancements in hearing aid technology. Natasha finds the substantial impact audiologists can have on someone else’s life extremely rewarding, and is excited to provide the residents of Durham with the highest quality of hearing healthcare when they visit The Hearing Room. In her spare time, Natasha enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, trying new restaurants, and fashion. She loves traveling, and her next trip has to be to the Greek Islands!
